Alex Savage is an LA based theatrical, commercial, and stage actor.
And multi-hyphenate, but you get the point.
I have the passion, time, and enough capital to make sure I can dedicate my entire focus into whatever I'm working on. I regularly practice/perform improv, create zines, paint in mixed media, and post dumb content to tiktok/reels. I've been dabbling in event/concert and portrait photography too.
Point being: I have a WIDE artistic knowledge base. And it's always growing.

For my bone fides: I am a UC San Diego theater program alum.
In my time there, I held several main stage roles in collaboration with La Jolla Playhouse. I worked extensively outside the program. And, most notably, with experimental and devised theater.
I have extensive experience in producing, fundraising, and directing for fringe/devised/horror/comedy theater. Che Cafe, you have my heart. But not political ideology.

Alex Savage studied Theatre with an emphasis in acting at UC San Diego. There, he utilized the La Jolla Playhouse's campus, materials, and staff for nearly a dozen productions. He has more training ranging from UCB in LA to STC in DC to braving anything on Zoom.
From 4 seat theatres to 40 and 400, Alex has a broad base of performance experience. From V.O in a surprise Itch.io hit to more V.O for employee educational videos. From unreleased sketches to student short films that have screened for thousands. From hosting charity nights to Improv Jams.
From Youth Theatre in San Ysidro to restaging and producing works of the Grand-Guignol, Alex's work has always sought to help local communities through performance, direct action, community building, catharsis and so much more.
Alex Savage is a preminent english language scholar into this parisan horror-comedy theatre. He even directed a sold-out restaging of several of the theatre's works in San Diego in 2022 (in close collaboration with the Theodore and Adele Shank Theatre and UC San Diego).
